In this tutorial, you'll discover how to manage Profile Permissions to ensure the best use of Unlockit by your team.
Note that these permissions only apply to Members of your Organization. When you invite external participants to Processes, you must define the permissions of those users at the level of that Process.
To set permissions, go to Organization, Profiles, and Permissions, and select the Profile you want to view or edit.
Permissions are grouped into 6 sections: Contracts, Processes, Portfolio, Team, Other Settings, and Billing.
In the Contracts section:
- Sign Contracts: allows the user to sign contracts;
- View your Contracts: allows the user to create and view the contracts created by you;
- Manage your Contracts: allows the user to manage the contracts created by you, that is, submit for signature and make changes.
We recommend that you select the previous permission whenever you give it this one, to maintain consistency; we suggest that you do this step with all “view” and “manage” permissions.
- View all Contracts: allows the user to see all the Organization's contracts;
- Manage all Contracts: allows the user to manage all the Organization's contracts.
Workflows:
- Manage your Processes: create and manage the processes created by you;
- View all Processes: see all Organization processes;
- Manage all Processes: manage all the Organization's processes;
- See Documentation for all Processes: see the Documentation associated with all Processes;
- Manage Process Documentation: approve, reject, or place documentation as pending;
- Manage Enquiries: pass a Process to the “Marketing” state.
Portfolio - refers to the Organization's Portfolio:
- Use Wallet: use shares and/or credits;
- View your wallet consumption: see the consumption used by you;
- View Wallet balance: view the balance.
Team:
- View invitations: view invitations and their status;
- Invite Members: invite new people to the organization;
- View Profiles: see available Profiles and their permissions;
- Manage Profiles: create, modify, or delete Profiles, and change the Permissions associated with each Profile;
- Manage Profile permissions: associate Profiles with Organization Members.
Other definitions:
- Manage Organization information (soon): it will allow you to change Organization information, such as name or logo;
- Manage Contract types: manage the Contract types that appear in the upload selector;
- Manage document types (soon): it will allow you to manage the document types that appear in the upload selector.
Billing:
- View all billing information, payment methods, billing consumption;
- Manage all billing information, payment methods, and billing consumption.
